That's One Small Step for Man . . .

Yes, the day has arrived. August 28, 2007. I showered in my own home. Words cannot express just how delightful it really was.

WOW! It's been a long time since I've written. I guess I've gotten caught up in the summer. We haven't left DC once in the past 6 weeks. A decent amount of work has been accomplished. We have central air. We have tiled floors- bathroom and kitchen. And we have our sanity. Well, what little sanity we had when we started this project :)

I think in the next 6 weeks we will have a MOSTLY finished kitchen. I'm about to order the appliances and once everything is in, the countertops. The porject is on the move!
